Verify your ID with Companies House
Companies House have introduced a mandate that requires all company directors or the equivalent of company directors (includes LLP members) to verify their identity directly with Companies House. From 18th November 2025, it will not be possible to file a confirmation statement without having the personal code (PRN) that is issued to you when you have verified your ID. The requirement to verify ID also applies to shareholders with 25% or more of a company’s shares (known as Persons with Significant Control) if they are not directors.
